Oversee, an AI-driven travel spend optimization and customer service automation platform, has expanded its sourcing suite to further include a Hotel Sourcing Optimization solution, according to an announcement. The innovation, said the announcement, is “a groundbreaking tool designed to eliminate hidden hotel overspend and uncover lost savings for travel programs.”

This latest addition, said the announcement, enhances Oversee’s sourcing capabilities, which now include both Air Sourcing Optimization and Hotel Sourcing Optimization, helping companies drive greater value from their travel budgets. (Oversee was formerly known as FairFly.)

The hotel solution, said the announcement, automates rate auditing, provides real-time supplier compliance monitoring and benchmarks performance against peers. This gives customers “unmatched visibility into their hotel program’s ROI and a competitive edge in supplier negotiations.”

Aviel Siman-Tov, CEO, said the hotel tool is “a breakthrough for travel management and procurement teams, enabling them to make smarter, data-driven hotel sourcing decisions, while ensuring they receive the rates they were promised.” With real-time insights, he said, “program managers can immediately identify and recover lost hotel savings, resolving supplier issues before they amount to large sums.”

Hotel savings, according to Oversee, often slip through the cracks due to misloaded rates, incorrect discount calculations and data entry errors that are difficult to detect but can cost large corporations millions of dollars.
